Make your resolution stick 100% - What if it does work out?
The No. 1 thing to do this year to make your resolution real. It’s 2018! A new year. A new beginnings. So, how do you make sure to kick butt this time around? You only need to apply one rule to your most important resolution –
give 100 % The best business advise my business mentor gave me was 99% is hard, 100% is easy! To often we are 99 percenting it. We delay because schedules are too tight, or the “time is not right”. What we really mean is we are just not 100%
Here is how to apply 100% rule to our life!
No1. Know what you want
The first rule of getting what you want is knowing what you want? Priorities exist to give us clarity. They force us to contemplate the specifics of what is what we want to be, do, or have. What do you most want to achieve this year? This is what you will receive your 100%
No2. Make it achievable – but not easy
In coaching we call the best goal ”stretch goals” possible but with some stretch. We always want to push forward.
Its how we grow and feel happy. Is it your 100% goal stretch enough? Be honest. Make sure its something that, when you are working towards it, you feel tested, inspired, and proud.
No3. Act
Part 3 is the most important. Nothing, nothing, nothing changes without action!
Remember, All the best goals are deadline given. We need the why and the what, but also when. If your goal is ongoing ( for example to take 10min daily for meditation ) then is simply daily commitment. But give your self no choice but to do it and you can tick it off your mental list every morning with satisfaction.
No4. Make it easy to stay on track.
There are great resources available to keep you focused. Search the podcast, evernote app. …find right one for yourself, to stay organized and at the top of the to – do list. The right mindset and tools support will make success easier. But you have to decide to commit 100%.
So go ahead and decide where, how and on what, you are going to commit your 100% this year? #stress4less
